Following the critical success of his first album “Re-Evaluation Time” released in 2010, bassist Roberto Badoglio will present the music of his in september 2015 outcoming cd “A Lapse of Worry”, together with drummer Marko Djordjevic from New York city and with German Icelandic guitar player Bjoessi Kluetsch.
A fresh mix of New Jazz, contemporary grooves and modern sounds with influences that ranges from Coltrane to Björk – not to be missed! Roberto Badoglio, one of the most interesting and innovative bass players of the young generation and ex pupil of bass gurus Matthew Garrison and Dominique Di Piazza counts already a good number of collaborations in his carreer, such as Steve Hunt, Virgil Donati, Joanne Brackeen, David Haynes, Marcus Miller, Louis Cato and many others.
Called a “world class drummer” and “a true innovator” by Modern Drummer magazine, Marko Djordjevic has played on more than 40 albums and has thousands of live performances to his credit. Some of the artists Djordjevic has performed and recorded with include: Matt Garrison, Wayne Krantz, Jonah Smith, Clarence Spady, Lucky Peterson, Jacques Schwartz-Bart, Garry Willis, Hal Crook, Bill Frisell, Lionel Loueke, Aaron Goldberg, The Itals, Chris McDermott, and Eric Lewis.
Guitarist Bjössi Klütsch was born and raised in a musician family in Bamberg, Germany. When he was 6 years old he started to play the violin and later changed his instrument to guitar. In 2002 he went to study at the Berklee College of Music in Boston on a scholarship and graduated from there in 2005. He studied with Tim Miller, Bruce Bartlett, Jon Finn, etc. In 2007 he moved to Berlin and since has been involved in projects with musicians like Roberto Badoglio, Steve Hunt, Virgil Donati, Marko Djordjevic, and many more.
